The possibility: Computers exceed human mental performance

Machines exist today (2030) which clearly exceed human mental capabilities in almost any way that 'human mental capability' can be measured: memory, speed, IQ, drawing inferences from diffuse data, extending sensory inputs, and decision making. With this threshold having been passsed, the roles and methods of education and learning are being reassessed everywhere.
